I guess love wins after all

Sometimes I think I bake something just to take pictures…okay and of course consume all the tasty treats, but foremost in my mind is having something pretty to practice on. I saw this recipe for red velvet sandwich cookies at Munchkin Munchies. The only change I made to the recipe is I vastly reduced the amount of powdered sugar in the cream cheese frosting. I actually prefer to really taste the cream cheese flavor, so I used 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar rather than 4. I also pretend that makes it less calorie laden.  mmm delusion so tasty!

So on to the pictures! I eventually went into the backyard to take advantage of the better natural lighting.
